Author Presentation Guidelines
In view of the COVID-19 situation, the organizing committee of the TICPE, has decided to move TICPE 2020 to a fully virtual conference. We have opted for a format where each contributed paper, abstract, or plenary will take the form of a pre-recorded video, which we will make available to conference attendees.
We request you to prepare and sent a video of your presentation. This will be considered as a replacement of your attendance at the conference. Please note that the file must be a video file in one of the following formats: mp4, mpeg, mpg, mov, avi (more details below). Please do not try to sent powerpoint or PDF files.
While we are unable to provide individualized technical support to help you create these videos, one possible approach to record a compatible video from content displayed on your computer screen and voice recorded via the computer microphone, is to record the presentation using Zoom, available to users on most platforms and in most countries.
Accordingly, we ask you that you please sent your video to firstname.lastname@example.org
*** August 15, 2020 *** .
Please use the following guidelines for preparing your video.
Keynotes: duration 40 minutes
4-10 Page paper: duration 10-15 minutes, 100 MB limit
Workshop Invited: duration 30 minutes, 200 MB limit
Video file format: mp4, mpeg, mpg, mov, avi
Dimensions: Minimum height 480 pixels
Except for the above duration and digital constraints, the form of the presentation is left free (though please be sure the video includes the title of the paper, the authors, and a mention to TICPE’2020).
We hope to make TICPE’2020 a success despite the difficult situation and this unusual conference format. We thank you for your cooperation in this endeavor.
